SEIVERS. I am searching my husband's line, SEIVERS. I have his ggf, Olaf Olsen SEIVERS, b. 06 May 1875, at Knappum Farm, Asnes, Solor Hedmark, Norway. He immigrated to the U.S. aboard the Montibello, landing at NYC on 4 Apr 1892. He went to MN and there married Tilda Gunhilda NELSEN, b. 18 Oct 1871 in Norway (I do not know when or where she immigrated to the U.S.), c. 1895. Their first 3 children were born in Kenyon, Goodhue County, MN between 1895-1900. Afterwards they moved to Lakeville, Anoka County, MN where their 4 younger children were born. I have been unable to find a marriage record on this couple and could not find them in Kenyon, Goodhue County on the 1895 MN State Census. I would appreciate it if someone who has access to marriage records in MN during the period 1895-1900 would check to see if there is a record of their marriage, and would give me the date and place of their marriage. Peter Eric Wistrand settled in the Excelsior, MN area where he built houses. His grandson, Harry B. Wistrand married Nina Seamans and lived as a merchant in Excelsior. His son, Harold B. I am researching the BUNNING family (the U originally had an Umlaut, but that may have been dropped). They settled in Columbia Heights,Anoka Co. around year 1900.They go back to Joachim BUNNING (1787-1853) and Luise OLOFF (1790-?)in Kreis Perleberg, Brandenburg, Germany. A son Joachim Christoph Heinrich BUNNING (1819 ?) was in the US year 1853, but where? Another son Johann Georg Friedrich BUNNING (1817-1908) stayed in Germany and married Charlotte Wilhelmine Maria KOEHN (1834-1920). They had six children, four of them came to the US. Wilhelmine Luise Sophie (1858-1941), married HENKE, to US about 1910. Marie (1860-?) , married MOEHLMANN, died in Germany. Hermann Johann Friedrich (1864-?), stayed in Germany, fate unknown. Kenneth VERDINE PETERSON, born July 23,1906 in Anoka, MN. Adopted by Hilgia (Johnson) and Peter Peterson, living in Odanah, WI at the time. The 1910 Census clearly lists my father (Kenneth Peterson) as adopted son of Peter and Hilgia who were Swedish by birth. Kenneth Peterson's birth parents country of origin is listed as Norwegian (father) and French (mother). A search of MN State records and County records of Anoka yield no birth certificate of delayed birth record. I believe his middle name VERDINE is a clue to his birth parents.
