Looking for information on O'TOOLE family. John O'TOOLE came to
Minn. after the civil war with his son Martin (wife Mary Kelly)and 4
daughters and grandson John. Young John married Emily O'TOOLE who
came to Minn. from Chipmonkcoulee Wisc. Near La Cross. I believe two
of John Sr.'s daughters were Bridget and Mary. Young John worked for

Looking for connections to Giles and Jane SERGENT/SERGEANT/
SERGEANT.They married in 1853. Giles and Jane settled in Jefferson,
WI and had 4 children. Jane died in 1871 and is buried in Hebron,
Jefferson co, WI. Giles remarried Julia? and moved to Pierce co, WI.
Have reason to believe the children crossed over in to MN. Giles
went to live in the Wi Veteran's Home at Waupaca, Wi and is buried
there. Julia remarried and is buried there also. Her maiden name is
not known. Jane and Giles children were: 1)Ella m. John STEWART 1875
in Pierce co, WI their 8 children were: Florence, Floyd, Melvin,
Nellie, Charles, Blanche, Merle,and Julia. 2)Fannie m. Channcy
CHAPIN in 1878, Their 5 children:Verna, Grace, Bursette, Della,
Archie. 3)Warren SERGEANT m ? and had 4 children: Jeannie, Lewis,
Ray, George, 4)Benjamin(Bennie) m. ? and had 2 children: Bennie and
Louise Giles was brother to my gg grandfather. Would very much like
to connect with these long lost cousins families! We know that some
live near Minneapolis/St Paul area, but the town is not known.

Seeking information on Mary Melchert SCHAEFER (SCHAFER) married to
Anthony SCHAEFER (SCHAFER) who was born in NY State to Antony and
Maria SCHA(E)FER. Mary was born in Germany she had a daughter, my
grandmother, Hattie Caroline Melchert SCHA(E)FER who was born March
27, 1881 in Morristown, MN. Mary died when Hattie was very young.
Hattie was sent back to relatives in New York State via stagecoach
